“DREAMS” COME TRUE FOR ZACHARY HUNTER
SINGER/SONGWRITER RELEASES VIDEO FOR “IN YOUR DREAMS”
(NASHVILLE, TN.) (September 24, 2007) – Zachary Hunter has released a video for In Your Dreams, his latest Wolf / Aspirion Records single and title track to his current CD. Filmed in Winchester, Kentucky, In Your Dreams was directed by Lark Watts for Shinola Pictures (Povertyneck Hillbillies, Sawyer Brown, Blackhawk).
Set against the backdrop of a small town, the video follows the story of a 15-year-old rodeo rider and new kid in town who is smitten by a raven haired girl at his new high school. But, the feeling is not mutual.
In your dreams cowboy - I can’t be seen with you
If you’ll just open your eyes you’d see I’m not right for you ‘Cause I like lace and satin and you wear those old jeans But have no fear all’s not lost you can love me in your dreams
Through time and persistence, and after proving his trophy-winning rodeo prowess, the young man gains her attention, and eventually her love. Fast-forward fifty years and a lifetime of love is unfolded. The now old man sits at her death bed and asks how am I supposed to love you if you’re not around?
In your dreams cowboy - I’ll be right there with you
If you’d just open your eyes you’d see I’m still in love with you
But soon I’ll be in heaven and then I’ll have my wings
But have no fear when I’m gone you can love me in your dreams
I’ll love you in your dreams
Under the direction of Watts, known for his sometimes unorthodox style, In Your Dreams comes to life in shades of small rural classrooms, carnival scenes, and
projected rodeo footage- mixed with edgy, and sometimes gritty images which flash by as Hunter narrates the story. It is made even more believable by the 3 sets of actors
who portray the couple at different stages of their lives - from teen-aged to elderly.
Underpinning the video, In Your Dreams is a solid country song written by Hunter, and produced by him and Ed Stasium. It features an all-star cast of session players who compliment Hunter’s easy-going vocal delivery.
Visual Image Marketing has been retained for national video promotion.
